Sun Forged Djinn - The Eightpints

It's not a beast; it's a piece of the desert's own cruel soul, a ghost of the cataclysm that birthed the wastes. Its upper body is a terrifying construct of obsidian and captured sunlight, but it has no legs, just a swirling vortex of sand and ash. You'll think it's just another mirage. It isn't. I once saw one turn a whole dune into a river of molten glass with a gesture. You don't fight a thing like that. You find the deepest, darkest hole you can, and you pray it doesn't notice you.
