Description

Upgrade your water rocket with this reliable and easy-to-use parachute deployment system! This 3D-printable module is designed to ensure a safe recovery for your water or PET bottle rockets.

Features:

  • Parachute Box: A spacious compartment to safely fold and store your parachute.
  • Servo Mount: Built-in bracket to easily install the servo motor that triggers and opens the door.
  • Mounting Holes: Pre-designed screw holes to securely attach the entire module to your rocket's body.
  • Rubber Band Powered: The ejection mechanism uses a simple rubber band to forcefully push the parachute out the moment the door opens, ensuring a clean deployment.

Hardware Required:

  • 1x Rubber band (for the ejection mechanism)
  • 1x Servo motor
  • Screws (for mounting the module to the rocket)
  • A parachute

Printing Guidelines:

  • Supports: YES. Supports are required for optimal printing and to ensure all overhangs and mounts print cleanly.
  • Glue: YES. In orther to make it easier to print, the top part is separated to glue (cyanocrilate) is required to put together both parts.
