Modular Train Depot with Sliding Track & Turntable
Print Profile(1)

Description
🔥 Description
This is a modular train depot system (Version 1) designed for wooden train sets like Brio, IKEA, and similar.
The system combines a turntable and sliding track mechanism, allowing more advanced train movement and play scenarios.
How it works:
- The train enters the depot
- It is rotated using the turntable
- Then guided through a curved section back
- The train reverses toward a wagon
- Using the sliding track, it moves sideways into one of the depot bays
This creates a more interactive and mechanical play experience compared to standard static tracks.
⚙️ Design Notes
- Parts are designed to fit tightly without unwanted play or looseness
- The turntable uses a compact radius to fit on smaller printers like the BambuLab A1 Mini
- Because of this limitation, the curve is not perfectly realistic, but fully functional
- Sliding mechanism is simple and reliable
This is an early version, focused on functionality and concept.
🚧 Version Info

Future improvements may include:
- Smoother turntable rotation
- Larger radius version
- Easier assembly
- Expanded depot modules
