The HMF system is a high-quality, modularly expandable frame system for your Hueforge pictures. It was developed to offer maximum stability, perfect flatness, and flexible presentation options.

Extremely Stable Construction

In contrast to many conventional, thin-walled 3D printed frames, the HMF system deliberately relies on:

• reinforced 10 mm frame thickness
• solid internal structure for high rigidity
• precise clip geometry for secure hold

The result:

• The frames do not warp
• They lie flat and even against the wall
• They remain dimensionally stable even in large combinations
• When set up, they stand firmly and securely without wobbling

3. Half Clips

For covering open clip slots when a frame is not extended. They offer two advantages:

Slightly Longer Print Time – Deliberately for Quality

The frames require a bit more print time than simple designs. This is not a disadvantage but a quality feature:

Material Tolerance – Important to Know

Filament is not a standardized industrial product. Every brand, every batch, and even every color behaves differently – both during printing and in the finished model.

Therefore, slight dimensional deviations of about 0.10–0.20 mm can occur with clips. This is not a defect but normal behavior for plastics.

The system was tested with:

Even within the same manufacturer, there were differences in clip fit – sometimes a bit tighter, sometimes a bit looser.

Before printing many clips in series:
