Printing & Assembly Tips
1. The Base (Highly Recommended): While the drum can stand alone, the optional base is what makes this model shine. It facilitates the rotating motion and the easy-access pop-up feature.
2. Weight for Stability: For the best "premium" feel and smooth rotation:
- Print the base with high infill.
- Pro Tip: Pause the print and fill the internal cavities of the base with sand, small ball bearings, or lead shot before the top layers close. This added weight prevents the organizer from sliding around during use.
3. Tolerances: Every printer is calibrated differently. If you find the fit too tight or too loose for your specific batteries, feel free to scale the model by 1-2% in your slicer to achieve the perfect fit.
If the batteries do not slide in smoothly, please double-check the internal slots for any minor print artifacts, blobs, or stringing that might be obstructing the fit.
