THE MODEL :

Embrace ancient mystery with this Baroque-inspired masquerade mask based on the powerful silhouette of the goat. This unique creation seamlessly blends raw, textured animal features with the complex elegance of classical scrollwork. The matte black finish highlights every intricate detail, creating the look of a hand-carved ebony or blackened iron artifact. This is a premium accessory for high-end masquerades, mythical creature cosplay, or as a striking centerpiece for a Neo-Gothic gallery wall.

Proven print settings :

  • Material : Matte Black PLA (achieves a high-end carved stone or leather-like finish).
  • Infill : 15-20% (crucial for structural integrity and horn balance).
  • Supports : Necessary for the complex overhanging scrolls and horn curves.
  • Nozzle : 0.4 mm.

Maker's Tip : For a truly arcane aesthetic, try a subtle silver or gold dry brush on the tips of the horns. Pair it with dark velvet ribbons for an elegant fastening that matches the mask's opulent character.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
