I needed a tool to tighten and loosen the steering head bearing nut on my S1000R, so I designed this model. It is inspired by the original BMW tool and other locknut wrenches but features internal pins, allowing them to be printed as part of the wall rather than added separately, which improves strength and durability.
The tool fits the nut precisely with no play. It features a 1/2-inch drive, making it compatible with standard ratchets or torque wrenches. If needed, I can also provide a version with increased tolerances. It should be compatible with the S1000R, S1000RR, as well as the M1000R and M1000RR models.
