THE MODEL :

Redefine time and space with this unique lamp crafted from a Baroque-inspired hourglass. Its architectural frame, featuring ornate columns and delicate scrollwork, houses an integrated LED lighting system at its core. No longer measuring seconds, the hourglass now emits a soft, mysterious glow, transforming a classic object into a piece of luminous design. Ideal for "Dark Academia" settings, curiosity cabinets, or a high-end executive desk.

Proven print settings :

• Material : Matte Black PLA (for the frame) and Translucent PETG or "Vase Mode" PLA (for the glass bulb).
• Infill : 15% (ensures base stability).
• Electronics : Designed to fit a battery-operated LED puck 
• Nozzle : 0.4 mm.

Maker's Tip : For a truly spellbinding effect, use a "flickering flame" LED or a dimmable bulb. This will create the illusion that time itself is shimmering within the intricate Baroque structure.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
