Fighter Jet Shift Knob - F-16 Style

Want to feel like Maverick every time you shift to 3rd gear? ✈️🔥

I designed this Fighter Jet Combat Grip to replace the boring stock shifter in my car. It’s not just a decoration; it’s a fully functional, ergonomic upgrade for your interior.

UPDATE: I've added a print profile with buttons to print separately and glue in place. Makes it easier to paint anyway if you don't have these filaments colors).

🛠️ V1.1 UPDATE: Better Top & Base

The version you are downloading is BETTER than the one shown in my car photo! After my first print, I went back to Fusion 360 to refine:

• The Top Plate: Improved top surface for best aesthetics.
• The Base: Smoother transition for a cleaner "factory" look.

⚠️ READ BEFORE PRINTING (Compatibility): This model is designed with a 13.2mm internal bore, which fits perfectly on many Peugeot and Citroën stems. However, shift stems vary greatly between brands. Remove your stock knob and check your dimensions/shape in the slicer before printing.

🎨 AMS & Colors: The raw file is set up for AMS multi-color printing. If you don't have an AMS, don't worry! I printed mine in Matte Black and hand-painted the buttons for that authentic military look. Just remove the color painting in the slicer to print it as a single solid part.

⚙️ Print Settings (Tested & Approved)

• Material: PETG (Recommended) or ASA. DO NOT USE PLA—it will melt in your car during summer! ☀️
• Orientation: The model is specifically tilted in the profile. Why?
  1. To fit the height limits of the A1 Mini.
  2. To maximize structural strength (layer lines at an angle are harder to snap).
• Walls: 3 Walls (Perfect balance of flex and rigidity).
• Infill: 20% Gyroid. It’s rock solid, it doesn’t move even under "combat" shifting.
