Description
A 3D-printed portable soldering station that converts Einhell or Ozito power tool batteries into a power source for the popular TS101, TS100, and Pinecil irons. Perfect for field repairs or a clean, cordless workbench, this functional remix unifies separate designs to allow the battery adapter, a clamp, and the iron stand to be securely mounted together into a single unit.
Modifications made from the original project:
- Battery Adapter Base: Utilized the non-USB version of the "Einhell To XT60" adapter as the base. Extended the main housing vertically to create more internal space for wiring, and added three mounting holes to the bottom to securely fasten the assembly.
- Mounting Clamp: Cut a precise notch into the "Clamp /print in place" structure. This notch serves as the structural mounting point to attach the modified soldering iron stand.
- Interlocking Iron Stand: Removed the entire original base from the bottom of the "Improved Pinecil..." stand and designed a new, custom mounting tab in its place. This tab slides perfectly into the notch on the modified clamp, securely locking the stand and clamp assembly together.
