History of the Object
St. Padre Pio (1887–1968) was an Italian Capuchin friar known for his deep prayer life, compassion, and time spent hearing confessions. He became widely known for his perseverance through suffering and dedication to helping others.
Because of this, he is closely associated with patience, healing, and spiritual strength.
