History of the Object
St. Anthony of Padua (1195–1231) was a Franciscan priest known for his powerful preaching and deep knowledge of Scripture. Over time, he became widely known as the saint people turn to when something is lost.
Because of this, he’s one of the most recognized and commonly kept saints in homes.
