Nauticam Zoom Gear for Nikon 8-15mm with 1.4 TC

This is a Zoom Gear for use in Nauticam underwater housing that fits the Nikon 8-15mm fisheye zoom lens with a 1.4 teleconverter attached. It was tested with a Kenko 1.4 TC, but other teleconverters may fit as well. It will work with both Nikon Z-Mount (mirrorless) and F-Mount (DSLR) cameras and housings. (Pictured here is the Nikon 8-15 lens with then Kenko 1.4TC and Nikon FTZ adapter attached.) 

The design is made up of two printable parts. A rigid plastic gear made of PETG/PLA, etc and a soft rubber friction sleeve made of TPU. The TPU part slides over the zoom ring of the lens. (You do NOT need to remove the rubber grip from the lens which is sometime needed on similar gears) The gear then slips over the TPU ring. It should grip firmly and not slide off or spin easily. If you find that it is too loose, use a strip of black rubber electrical tape around the outside of the TPU ring. That should shim it enough to make it snug.

Nauticam does not make or sell a zoom gear for use with a teleconverter, so if you want to use this useful combination, and DIY gear is your only choice.
