#1
This piece is part of an original project that I am starting at np3dcreations, integrated into a collection of characters from the Portuguese world that I am developing for MakerWorld, in a Funko Pop–style format.
The idea came from the need to create figures inspired by my culture (Portuguese), both historical and contemporary, that are not available online, or that are represented in a different and more authentic way.
My goal is to highlight iconic figures, important moments, and even everyday Portuguese characters, reinterpreting them in an accessible, modern, and collectible style. More than just 3D models, these pieces are a tribute to the culture, history, and people that are part of Portugal’s collective identity.
Each model is carefully designed with attention to detail, balancing the recognizable Funko Pop style with unique elements that clearly identify each character. From traditional clothing to symbolic accessories, everything is created to tell a story and make each piece instantly recognizable.
This project is still in its early stages, but the plan is to continuously expand the collection, exploring different areas such as history, music, sports, television, and popular traditions. The goal is to build a diverse library of Portuguese characters that anyone can print, collect, and even customize.
By sharing these models on MakerWorld, I also hope to encourage community involvement — whether through suggestions for new characters, feedback on designs, or creative adaptations. np3dcreations is intended to be a space for experimentation and a celebration of Portuguese culture through 3D printing.
