⚠️ Important Safety & Use Notice

Items intended for enclosure or habitat use are for decorative and enrichment purposes only. They are not structural, load-bearing, food-safe, aquarium-safe, or certified for animal use. Suitability may vary depending on species, enclosure conditions, humidity, heat exposure, and overall setup. Owners are responsible for determining safe use.

  • Supervise pets and children around printed items.
  • Do not allow ingestion of printed materials or loose parts.
  • Keep away from direct heat sources, as PLA may warp under high temperatures.
  • Discontinue use if damaged or excessively worn.
  • Minor imperfections and layer lines are normal in the 3D printing process.

💡 Recommendations

  • PETG may be better suited for warmer environments.
  • Some keepers use fully cured aquarium-safe or food-safe epoxy/sealant coatings for humid or aquatic setups.
  • Always research compatibility for your specific setup and species.

Amphibians can absorb filament additives through their highly permeable skin and die

Thanks for bringing that up — you’re absolutely right that amphibians have highly permeable skin and can absorb substances from their environment. All of my products are made using Bambu Lab filaments, which are consistent and high quality, but they are not specifically tested or certified for amphibian or aquatic use. For that reason, my models are designed and marketed for reptile and dry-enclosure use only. If someone does choose to use them in a higher-moisture or amphibian setup, I would strongly recommend sealing the print with a fully cured, aquarium-safe resin or coating to create a barrier and reduce the risk of any potential leaching. That said, material safety in those environments ultimately depends on the keeper’s judgment and setup conditions. I always encourage choosing materials that are specifically verified as safe for the intended species and environment.
