Hyundai ix20 -Trunk Clip Cover Bracket Replacement

This model is a custom-designed replacement clip for the rear parcel shelf (trunk cover) of a Hyundai ix20.

The original factory clips are notorious for becoming brittle over time, snapping off, or getting lost, which causes the shelf to rattle or fall out of its hinges. This replacement is designed to be sturdier than the OEM part while maintaining a perfect snap-fit onto the edge of the shelf.

Print Settings (Recommended):

To ensure the clip survives the heat and mechanical stress of a car interior, please follow these guidelines:

• Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS.

  Note: Avoid PLA, as it will soften and deform in a hot car during summer (temperatures can easily exceed 60°C).

• Layer Height: 0.2 mm.
• Walls/Perimeters: 3–4 (crucial for the "spring" tension of the clip).
• Infill: 25% (Gyroid or Grid).
• Supports: Required for the inner overhangs and the snap-fit tabs. "Tree Supports" are highly recommended for easy removal.
• Orientation: Print the part on its side for maximum structural integrity (this prevents the layers from delaminating when the clip is flexed).

Installation Instructions:

1. Remove any remains of the old broken clip from the shelf.
2. Slide the 3D-printed clip onto the notched edge of the parcel shelf.
3. Firmly press until the internal tabs "bite" into the shelf material or click into place.
4. Slot the shelf back onto the mounting pins in your car's trunk.
