Description

This is a practical, heavy-duty holder for SDS-Plus drill bits, designed to be carried on a keychain or carabiner. Perfect for tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts who need to keep their most-used bits or chisels accessible at all times without digging through a tool case.

Features:

  • Standard Interface: Fully compatible with all SDS-Plus bits (10mm shank diameter).
  • Secure Locking: Features a dedicated locking pin with a 4.4mm ball that fits perfectly into the bit's retention groove.
  • Safety Sleeve: A sliding outer sleeve keeps the pins locked in place, preventing accidental release.
  • Integrated Eyelet: A robust loop for easy attachment to carabiners or key rings.

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Insert the locking pins into the holes of the main inner body.
  2. Slide the outer sleeve over the main body.
  3. Secure the assembly by attaching a carabiner or key ring through the top eyelet.

How to Use (Operation):

  • Inserting: Simply push the SDS-Plus bit into the holder until the pins click into the grooves.
  • Releasing: 1. Rotate the drill bit 90 degrees (this moves the pins from the deep locking grooves to the shallow ramps). 2. Pull the bit out smoothly.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Material: PETG or ASA (for mechanical strength and slight flexibility).
  • Layer Height: 0.15 mm – 0.20 mm (finer layers ensure smoother operation of the pin ramps).
  • Infill: 25% minimum for structural integrity of the eyelet and walls.
