180 Deg 1/64 Diecast Car Track
Print Profile(2)

Bill of Materials
Description
A 180 degree 1/64 Diecast Car Track, now setup to use male connectors - printable in PLA or PETG - track is obviously female.
This can fit on a Prusa Core One or A1, P1P/S/X1C, Centauri Carbon etc.
Recommendation
I recommend the non-banked track. When ironed it has a nice smooth surface. I also recommend PETG for its flexible nature. PLA has a tendency to crack easily. That being said, I've made improvements over the last year to make PLA an option. Ironing is optional. Only REQUIRED on the support pieces.
PRINT SETTINGS
PETG - 0.18 layer height on 0.6 (or 0.4) nozzle, 15% gyroid infill, 2-3 walls, 2-3 top layers, IRONING ON ALL TOP SURFACES on the inverse support pieces (only 1 layer required for walls/top/bottom layers for support pieces). The 0.25mm gap allows twisting and breaking off the support for like materials (Can use PLA as well, but PETG is more flexible). Works pretty well to break off currently.
OR
PLA/PETG Mix - Use the non-banked part and use PLA for the inverse connector pocket bodies. PETG for the main track. I still recommend ironing the top of the supports.
UPDATE 4/14/2026
- Model was Re-Released for “reasons”.
- I simplified the profile significantly for increased strength/durability on the walls, and easier printability.
- I changed the draft angle on the outer wall to 90 deg to try and stop cars from ejecting out of the track.
- This may make it incompatible with some cars, unfortunately. The old track model is still available in the download files.
- The connector pocket support block still breaks off easily with the same material - no change there!
NOTES
To get this track on the print bed (and the 90 deg pieces on an A1 Mini) it has a tighter turn radius. This means that some diecast cars won't fit in the track. Most of the higher speed “race” cars will, whereas longer trucks or specialty cars may not. Eventually I will make one that maxes out the bed or moves the inner wall - in. That should help.
I probably have hundreds of hours perfecting these tracks, with dialed in connector areas and physical printing/testing. No more hokey custom connector pieces. Print with confidence!!
