Ares represents war in its most direct and instinctive dimension, far from any idea of strategy or control. In Greek tradition, he is not a beloved deity, but a necessary presence: he embodies conflict in its most physical, immediate, and uncontrollable form

This bust translates that idea into a compact and structural construction. The helmet dominates the composition and defines the main volume, while the face maintains a rigid and restrained, almost distant expression. The boar element is not decorative but functional to the work's language: it introduces an animal component and reinforces the theme of primordial strength, integrating into the mass without creating fragile or suspended elements

The entire model is designed to maintain solidity and legibility in FDM printing, with a volume distribution that avoids structural criticalities and preserves details even at a reduced scale

• Always clean the build plate with **IPA** or soap and water before printing
• Recommended layer height: **0.16 mm**
  • superior quality on face surfaces and details
• For optimal results: use **adaptive layers** in areas of greater complexity
• Recommended supports: **tree**, gentle cold removal
• Post-production:
  • light sanding on cut lines
  • spray primer for a “museum statue” effect
• Also perfect for painting: dry-brush or acrylics highlight reliefs with great results

⚠️ Tips for Optimal Printing

To achieve the best result and avoid common FDM printing issues:

• Make sure the **build plate is perfectly clean** (IPA or soap and water) to prevent parts or supports from detaching
• Set **correct temperatures for filament and build plate**
• Gently remove **supports**, preferably using pliers or appropriate tools
• Small artifacts on overhangs can be normal in FDM printing: **light sanding** easily removes them
• Perform good **flow calibration** and use **well-dried** filament to ensure clean surfaces and defined details
