Raptor Riding Bronco - Dash Figure and mount.

Custom Raptor Riding a Bronco.  

I designed to work with the Bronco accessory mount using a standard ¼-20 bolt. Once installed, the mount allows you to easily attach custom 3D printed ornaments to your dashboard.

The system works using two neodymium magnets:

• One magnet is installed inside the dashboard mount
• A second magnet is installed inside the ornament

This creates a strong magnetic connection that lets you quickly swap different ornaments without removing the mount.

Hardware Required

You will need the following items to assemble the mount:

Magnets

• Two magnets are required per ornament setup

Bolt

• Used to attach the mount to the Bronco accessory mount

How It Works

1. Insert the bolt into the mount piece.
2. Glue the magnet on top of the bolt.
3. Secure the mount to the Bronco accessory port.
4. Glue the second magnet into the ornament. Be sure to have the magnet polarities attract before attaching. 
5. Place the ornament onto the mount.

Use Heat Tolerant Filament

1. Since this is going to be on your dashboard, please use a high temperature filament like ASA or ABS.  PET-G might be ok, but I haven't tested that.  Note: This was printed with ASA.  So, the fitment of your magnets and how tight the figure will attach to your dash mount might vary.
