Description
Replacement Insert for a Kinchrome 40pc ½" drive socket set AF/Metric.
Old insert for a family members socket set was crumbling to pieces and asked if I could print a replacement one. I couldn't find a model for this exact set so I made this one. Wanted to share for anyone in the same situation.
The insert is split to fit in the printer with dovetail, its a tight fit to keep it all in place.
The labels are sub-objects and a separate colour and flush. But can be raised by modifying the .3mf file, or changed to negative parts to inset them.
Not all the tool labels are on the model, as I couldn't fit them. I prioritised being able to print them all with .4 nozzle.
If anyone wants the fusion360 file I can look into preparing that to share too.
