Description

I designed this sub‑plate because I couldn’t find anything similar available. My goal was to mount my new ToughSystem 2.0 duffle bag (DWST08350) onto my TSTAK DEWALT Tool Box with Wheels (DWST17820). This sub‑plate is compatible with other full‑width ToughSystem 2.0 products as well.

On my printed unit, the fit was tight enough that Step 2 wasn’t strictly necessary, but I still added (2x) M2.5 × 20 mm cap screws to lock the side parts in place. You can also reinforce the dovetail joints with glue if desired.

For the handles, I used (4x) M3 × 30 mm cap screws. M3 × 40 mm screws will work too, but since the area is a bit tricky to reach, the 30 mm screws make assembly quicker.

This project uses roughly 1 kg of filament. With an E3D High Flow ObXidian nozzle, the print took about 19 hours.

I printed the plate using two materials on an AMS 2 Pro: PLA for the main body and a few layers of PETG for the support interface to make support removal easier.

It's the first model i share, please bare with me :)
