For coffee lovers who can’t get enough, even when it comes to design. This coffee cup–inspired trash bin turns a daily obsession into a playful, functional statement piece for your space.
This is a fully functional mini trash can. No additional components are required for printing. Printing the bin in two colors requires a single AMS color change.
Size at 100% scale:
Height: ~20cm
Outer Diameter: ~16cm (max.)
Printing
This design was printed and tested with Bambu Lab PLA Matte.
All parts were designed to be perfectly printable without supports. I recommend printing the inner lid with 3 wall lines for stronger pins. The weight has to be printed with 100% infill.
Assembly
No additional components are required for assembly. Before assembly, make sure the pins and holes are clean and free from filament residue.
First click the weight into the flap. To connect the flap into the outer lid, do NOT apply force against the pins! Instead, gently bend the outer lid into an oval shape, until you can insert the flap without damaging the pins.
The flap should freely rotate if everything printed well. For better performance, you can consider adding a drop of oil to each pin.
