A custom sci-fi inspired equipment nameplate designed for the Bambu Lab A1 Mini (or any desktop 3D printer setup).
This plate features a “Computerized 3-Dimensional Printing Operator (C3-DPO)” designation, blending industrial labeling with a subtle Star Wars aesthetic. The design is intended to resemble a worn, mounted equipment tag with faux fasteners, recessed paneling, and raised lettering for easy readability and post-processing.
Sized approximately 120mm wide, the plate is thick and robust for durability.
The raised text allows for clean multi-color printing or easy painting. In this example, the plate was finished with a matte base and light weathering to simulate aged metal, including dry brushing and washes for added depth and realism.
