Wall Mount Bracket for Water Filter 10in Pentair

This Water Filter Bracket prints sideways to take advantage of the 3D printing orientation added strength.   Several models are available for water filters, but most of them print from the bottom up, thus relying only on the layer line adhesion.  So I designed this somewhat uncommon shape to ensure the entire prints can print sideways without any temporary supports.   

This model was designed with the PENTAIR FILTER 10in P/N 158007 (Pentek Slim Line). Should also fit most 5-inch, 10-inch, and 20-inch filters including the Big Blue filter housings and other Pentek models. (Check the center-to-center hole pattern before printing)

The bracket can accept the filter in both flow directions (left to right or right to left) and also accommodates the pressure release button.

Two (2) objects are available: 

• Main Bracket (Top mount);
• Wall Shim (Optional bottom “U” Support to help hold the filter weight (reduce bending fatigue).

Holes are for #8 imperial screws (M4 equivalent). Screws shall be a little loose in the 3d printed holes. Do not use flat head screws (cone head screws), you will split the 3D print.  Use a flanged head screw (button head) style like on the pictures.
