Motorized Archimedes Screw Marble Run
Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
Description
This project is a kinetic marble run powered by an Archimedes screw. Once in operation, the continuous spiral motion creates an hypnotic effect that is very satisfying to watch as the marbles navigate the different track levels.
The Project
The model is designed to be built using the components from the Bambu Lab Maker's Beginner Kit.
- Dimensions: 9.8 x 19.7 x 20.4 cm.
- Compatibility: Requires the Maker's Beginner Kit.
- Hardware: All mechanical parts are included in the kit, except for 4x AAA batteries, which are needed to power the system.
Assembly & Maker's Kit Info
The motor housing and internal gears are based on the official Bambu Lab components, modified and integrated to fit seamlessly into this specific design.
For more technical details or the official documentation regarding the motor and gear reduction, you can visit the Maker's Beginner Kit page on the Bambu Lab store.
- Note on Jigs: While the official Bambu Lab page offers 3D-printable assembly jigs to assist with gear alignment, they are not mandatory for this project. This version was successfully assembled without them, but they remain an option for those who prefer extra guidance during motor setup.
Assembly Guide
Detailed step-by-step instructions for the assembly are provided in the PDF guide. You can find it below in the documentation section of this page.
