Gloin was a respected warrior and a loyal member of Thorin’s Company, known for his strength and determination.
He took part in the quest to reclaim Erebor and later fought in the Battle of the Five Armies. In the years that followed, Gloin became an important figure among the dwarves — and is also known as the father of Gimli, one of the members of the Fellowship of the Ring.
