Model Information:

The stadium in Lisbon was newly built for the 2004 European Championship and is the proud home of the Portuguese record champion SL Benfica.

• The gigantic steel arches: The most striking feature for your 3D print is the impressive roof construction. The curved roof is supported by four huge, red steel arches that span over the stands. This visible skeletal structure gives the model incredible dynamism.
• The Arena of Light: "Luz" means light. The polycarbonate roof is designed to let an extreme amount of sunlight into the stadium interior. For a model, a transparent or slightly translucent filament is suitable for the roof sections to imitate this effect.
• Sea of Red Flames: SL Benfica is famous for its passionate fans. The steep, three-story stands are almost entirely in bright red, which gives the model an enormous visual impact in combination with the white exterior facade.
• The Eagle "Vitória": Benfica's heraldic animal is the eagle (Águia). Before every home game, a real bald eagle flies through the stadium and lands on the club's crest at the edge of the pitch. A small eagle statue at the main entrance is a fantastic "Easter Egg" for detail lovers.
• Historic Stage: It is not only the largest stadium in Portugal but also a true final arena (Euro 2004 final, as well as Champions League finals 2014 and 2020).
