Chōji Akimichi Bust – The Gentle Giant from Konoha

Bring the strongest (and hungriest!) ninja of the Akimichi clan right to your desk! This detailed bust of Chōji Akimichi perfectly captures his character – including his iconic headband and the "Shoku" (Food) Kanji on his armor.
This model was specifically designed for fans of the Naruto series and offers excellent surfaces for various painting techniques.
Print Recommendations:
- Layer Height: 0.12mm or 0.16mm (for maximum detail in the face and hair).
- Infill: 10-15% (Gyroid recommended for stability).
- Support: Yes, preferably Tree Supports. Pay particular attention to the area under the chin and the hair tips.
- Material: PLA (Grey or beige is excellent as a primer for painting).
Tips for Finishing (Painting Guide):
To get the most out of the bust, I recommend the following techniques:
- Primer: A matte grey primer helps to make the details visible.
- Airbrush: Use an airbrush for large areas like the red armor and skin tone to create soft transitions and shading.
- Dry Brushing: Use a lighter brown for the hair and silver for the headband. The dry-brushing technique brings out the textures of the hair and the edges of the armor extremely well.
- Details: The red swirls on the cheeks and the Kanji symbol are best outlined with a fine brush and acrylic paint.
I appreciate every like and especially photos of your printed and painted results in the comments! 🍜💨
Happy printing!
