Description

At some point, I lost the rubber pad from my Saitek flight yoke clamp. I still had the support that clips onto the clamp screw, just not the pad itself. I found a few full-replacement supports on MakerWorld printed in TPU, but I did not like that the load is concentrated at the center of the support, especially since TPU has little structural rigidity.

Since I already had the support, I designed and printed just the rubber pad to clip into it. To my surprise, it worked on the first attempt and fits securely in the existing support.

Also, if you are not using isopropyl alcohol to remove TPU from your build plate, it is worth looking into. It makes removal much easier.
