These clip‑on adapters are designed to turn standard digital calipers with a 4mm / 3mm / 3.7mm jaw thickness into an internal‑measurement tool. The adapters snap securely onto the caliper jaws, extending their reach and creating parallel measuring surfaces that let you accurately gauge the inner width.
There are small bumps inside the clips so that they fits snugly to the jaws without dropping off. The prongs on the clips are 20mm long, which should be suitable for a majority of tasks.
The callipers I'm using are the 6" stainless steel electronic digital caliper from Duratool, model D03196, which have a jaw thickness of exactly 4mm. I've created variants for different jaw thicknesses; please let me know if I've missed a common thickness & I'll add a profile.
