Description

I have actually have used this for about 4 months, but I kept forgetting to publish the design.
This is a remix of my original Tesla sunroof Starlink Mini mount, updated to support the Neewer CA104 3" suction cups for a more secure and adjustable mounting solution.

The original design used super cheap/weak suction cups — this version embraces higher-quality ones instead. The CA104s offer extra adjustability that's especially useful for sunroofs with an aggressive curve, where a rigid mount would struggle to get solid contact across the surface.

The fit around the Starlink is slightly more snug than the original, but I've kept clearance in a few key locations to still allow felt pads — so it retains the same scratch and rattle protection that made the original work well.

Print notes: Printed in Bambu Lab ABS with ABS support material. This one is a bit more challenging to print than the original — ABS is necessary to handle the heat and rigidity requirements. Take your time with supports.

If you haven't seen the original, the core idea is a mount designed to sit in the sunroof opening with felt padding on the contact surfaces, eliminating rattling and vinyl scratching during drives.
