Interactive GeoCache Container (optional with NFC)

This GeoCache container was deliberately designed to be larger and more robust than many standard containers. The diameter of approximately 40 mm provides significantly better usability and more space inside

What's special: Variants are available with integrated NFC support. This allows you to digitally expand your cache – players simply scan the container with their smartphone and immediately receive hints, coordinates, or puzzles

Edit: Lid with magnet added. Magnets with a 30 mm diameter and 2-5 mm thickness are needed. I only had 2 mm thick ones in stock and used two, but one should also be sufficient depending on the weather :)

The magnet is simply inserted after printing and removing the support structure, or glued in if necessary. (this lid fits all containers)

I then glued the logo onto it

1. Without NFC

• Heights: 30 mm / 50 mm / 70 mm

2. With NFC recess

• Suitable for 25 mm NFC chips
• Without additional logo
• Heights: 30 / 50 / 70 mm

3. With NFC + Hint Logo

• NFC recess + internal symbol (“Scan”)
• Ideal for player guidance
• Heights: 30 / 50 / 70 mm

The combination of physical hide and digital content opens up many creative possibilities and ensures a significantly more exciting player experience

⚠️ Print Note (important)

This container is intended for outdoor use

👉 PLA is not suitable!
Please use at least:

• PETG (recommended)
• or even better: ASA (higher UV and weather resistance)

PLA will deform when exposed to heat and is not weather-resistant in the long term

For the chip versions, a pause is set at layer 7; insert the chip there
