CandyTrap / OnceClosed- Stays Closed Box

This box is a hilarious prank and the ultimate trap for sweets.

The Trick: Once the lid is slid into place, it’s locked forever. Due to a series of dovetail guideways with tapered tolerances, the lid wedges itself so tightly that it cannot be reopened without using brute force and destroying the box. It’s the perfect "evil" gift packaging!

Printing & Assembly:

• Material: Designed and tested in PLA.
• Customizable: Adapt the textfield before printing.
• The Point of No Return: My test print was impossible to reopen. Do not slide the lid all the way in unless you are ready to lock it!
• Tolerance Check: If you use other materials (like PETG or ABS), check the fit first. If your printer’s tolerances are too loose and the lid feels shaky, simply add a few drops of superglue into the sliding gaps before final closure.
