Wave Column Lamp

Wavy Lamp that prints in 2 parts, "Shade" and “Base”, with aligning pins.. You can purchase the bulb socket on amazon. I recommend you get a Pendant Light Cord, as no wiring is required. You just need to insert the socket in to the whole and tighten the ring that comes with the socket. You can Crazy Glue both parts or just use the clamping force of the bulb socket to hold them together. This is the route i  went and it has held up fine for over a year.

The "Shade"  is printed in 0% infill and “Detect Narrow Internal Solid Infill” off. I added 40% infill modifiers (Yellow Blocks) to the top and bottom portions of the lamp shade to add strength. You don't need the top modifier, but you do need the bottom. If not, it wont print correctly. 

The "Base" is just your standard 15% infill. You can change the infill if you want.

Both parts have the following settings.

• Infill Gap 100%
• Rib Wall Off
• Avoid Crossing Wall On
• Avoid Crossing Wall -Max Detour Length 200mm or %

Filament

Base - Any filament works. I used PLA Matte

Shade - I used Polylite Natural PLA. Any translucent filament works.
