With this bike fitting tool, you can adjust your bike to fit you and precisely measure the necessary dimensions

It assists in the repeatable measurement of saddle height, saddle setback, and the distance between the saddle measurement point and the handlebars

In addition to the printed components, you will need:

  • String
  • Small weight (screw, etc)
  • Measuring tape
  • Adhesive

Assembly:

Insert the side plates into the bike fitting tool and secure them with adhesive

The string and weight are assembled as shown in the pictures and knotted securely to the carriage The string should be longer than the saddle height of the bicycle

Procedure for measurements

Saddle height:

  1. Insert the crank centering tool into the crank
  2. Place the bike fitting tool onto the saddle from the front and push it back until both side plates touch the saddle
  3. Insert the measuring tape into the pocket of the crank centering tool and insert the upper end into the reading needle of the bike fitting tool
  4. Read the measurement at the needle

Saddle setback:

  1. Place the carriage with string and weight onto the bike fitting tool
  2. Insert the crank centering tool into the crank
  3. Move the carriage on the bike fitting tool until the string with the weight hangs over the center of the crank centering tool
  4. Read the value on the scale of the bike fitting tool

Saddle-handlebar distance:

  1. Insert the measuring tape into the pocket of the bike fitting tool so that the measuring tape extends over the handlebars (see image)
  2. Read the value at the handlebars

With this procedure, the values can be repeatedly set to the same level and, if necessary, precisely transferred to other bicycles

Does it fit any bicycle saddle and crank? Do you have video showing the assembly and how to use it?

Hi, it does fit any bicycle saddle, but the plug is only designt for Shimano cranks. But you can also use it without the plug in the crank. Its better than do it without any tool. I unfortunatly dont have a video, but if you have questions, dont hesitate to ask them :)

Replying to @_Urs_ :
If I understand the concept correctly, the tool is designed to replicate existing bicycle measurements to another bicycle and not for starting out from scratch?
