Bring a touch of the 1800s to your desk or bookshelf. This model is a high-fidelity recreation of a 19th-century "sad iron." Every detail has been carefully modeled to replicate the hand-forged wire handle, the octagonal wooden grip, and the heavy, chiseled base of the original artifact.
Features
- Authentic Design: Modeled from real historical reference photos for an accurate silhouette.
- Detailed Texture: Features a decorative spiraled grip and a tapered, heavy base.
- Perfect Gift: Great for history buffs, laundry room decor, or as a unique industrial-style paperweight.
Print Settings
- Filament: Matte Black PLA or PETG for that wrought-iron look.
- Supports: Required (Tree supports work best for the handle overhangs).
- Infill: 15-20% (or go 50%+ if you want it to feel heavy like the real thing!).
- Walls: 2-4 walls for better surface finish on the steep slopes of the base.
