Description

Description:

I've designed a shudder button that work with the Smallrig cage for the DJI Action 5/6 camera. The button just screws into the ¼-20 hole on the top of the cage. There is also a locking pin so the button does not rotate once installed.

The button is designed in such a way that you still have access to all other functions of the cage including the lever to open the back plate, and full access to the cold shoe mount.

This button works with other cage handle designs like those from SOOTEK & 山虾工造 (handles linked below)

Printing notes:

There is a section on the top of the button meant for finger placement. If printed with the top face down (as it is in the slicer) it creates a nice textured pattern in the recess similar to fuzzy skin that gives a nice grip.

I would also keep the support in the ¼-20 hole unless you want to do a little post print cleanup.
