Description
This model is designed to replicate and improve on the Kafko / Equator skimmer (part numbers 19-0163-1 alterantive: 1006, 1901631, 2002888) that has broken and cracked on me several times. If the original gets too full it will crack along the thin walls or on the lip designed to lift out the basket.
The basket is orignally priced at $61.99 and often on sale for $51.99.
I have included 4 plates, the original design, the handle as well as the basket split into two parts with Prizm style plugs to join the top portion with the bottom and save approximately $6 in filament by not using supports.
I ended up using JB Weld Plastic Bonder 2 part Urethane adhesive to join the parts and the handle.
