Description
Jenny Wakeman (XJ-9) - A Teenage Robot
Bring the most iconic robotic heroine of the 2000s to your collection! This model of Jenny (XJ-9) was designed to capture her vibrant personality in a dynamic and friendly pose. It's the perfect item for retro animation fans and miniature collectors.
Model Highlights:
- Design Fidelity: Proportions faithful to Rob Renzetti's original artwork.
- Signature Pose: Jenny in a classic wave, ready to protect Tremorton (or your shelf).
- Optimized for FDM: Geometry designed to maintain sharp details even at smaller scales.
Recommended Print Settings (Bambu Lab):
- Material: PLA (White, Light Blue, or Gray).
- Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.16mm to smooth the curves of the head and antennas.
- Supports: Yes. I strongly recommend using Tree Supports (Auto) to facilitate removal from the arms and antennas without damaging the surface.
- Walls: 3 walls to ensure the integrity of the thin legs.
- Infill: 15% (Gyroid pattern is ideal for stability).
- Brim: brim might be necessary if you have adhesion issues, as the contact base on the feet is small.
Post-Processing Tips:
If you plan to color your XJ-9, this model responds very well to spray primer and acrylic paint. The body divisions make masking easy for painting the original blue and white colors.
