Description

This is V2 of a speed loader for the Exomag 9mm AR9 magazines. The shape of the body has been changed slightly from the one shown in the gifs but performs the same. This has been designed and tested on the Exomag with ejector. Both JHP and FMJ loaded fine in my testing. I have had feedback that it does not work on the ejectorless Exomags, nor the Endomags.

This is an early version and it does require additional hardware to make the print work. It needs one M3 screw between 20 and 25mm in length and an optional small spring 7-8mm in diameter (a stock AR mag release spring works but is a bit on the strong side) but if you don't have a spring handy, it's not tough to hold the mag catch in place while loading. I plan on doing a 100% printed version with no separate hardware needed. I also may be switching up the unloader on the back side. Right now it has a little lip that rides the side of mag/feed lip so you can unload a bunch in quick succession.

The print profile/settings worked for printing in PLA, though PETG may be better if you plan on leaving these sit outside in the sun/in a hot car. The mag catch prints on its side for proper layer line orientation/strength reasons and works best with the painted on brims in the profile. You can take the brim off if you trust your printer (it's a small part so it takes no time to reprint if needed.) Printing it with the shaft vertical would be cleaner but it would break much much easier under spring tension.
