VW Golf / Jetta MK2 Casio F‑91W Dashboard‑Mount

This blanking plate replaces the original VW part 191 957 087 and offers a new function: it not only serves as a cover in the dashboard of the VW Golf 2 and VW Jetta 2, but also integrates a precisely fitting holder for the iconic Casio F‑91W

The watch sits securely, is easy to read, and looks like a factory-fitted auxiliary instrument - perfect for anyone who wants to add a subtle but unique retro detail to their interior

Important note: Due to the integrated watch holder, no original dummy switches (191 957 087) can be used on the left and right. The width is precisely matched to my own covers. Therefore, my corresponding blanking plates must be used for a clean overall appearance

Assembly

Remove Strap

The strap of the Casio F‑91W is secured with push-through pins that can be removed by applying pressure. Proceed as follows:

• Use a suitable, thin tool, e.g. a straightened paperclip
• The pins can only be pressed out from one side! The correct direction is marked on the strap by a small arrow
• Once the pin is pushed out, the strap can be removed

Assembly on the Golf 2 Blanking Plate

For attaching the watch to the blanking plate, the same pins are reused:

• Insert watch into the holder
• Push pins through the designated holes
• Snap into place and done

The watch then sits securely and neatly in the holder and can be mounted in the car
