Custom Dividers for DeWalt DWAN2190 Tough Case

Made to fit the DEWALT Tough Case / Tool Box, 8-Compartment (DWAN2190) and similar cases with the same dovetail slot system.

DeWalt doesn't sell replacement or additional dividers for this case — so I designed a full set of custom dividers and spines in multiple sizes to let you configure the compartments however you need.

How Sizing Works

Dividers are sized by counting dovetail grooves from the edge. For example, a "7-Groove" divider means a spine sits in the 7th groove from the wall. The standard divider included with the case is 7 grooves (74.65mm).

Spines & Dividers: Horizontal vs. Vertical

The left/right edges and top/bottom edges of the case have slightly different dovetail spacing (about 2mm difference), so there are two versions of each part:

• Horizontal (left/right): Marked with a "−" on the end that goes against the edge.
• Vertical (top/bottom): Marked with a "+" on the end that goes against the edge. These are 2mm longer to account for the wider dovetail spacing. (The green divider in pic #3 demonstrates this.)

If you're placing a divider vertically but not against a top/bottom edge, you can use standard horizontal-length dividers.

Tip: Vertical dividers have a small V-shaped notch cut into the bottom so you can quickly tell them apart from horizontal ones. (See pic #12)

Center vs. Off-Center

Vertical spines and dividers come in two variations:

• Center: Designed for the exact middle of the case, where the lid has a reinforcement notch.
• Off-Center: For use in any other position.

What's Included

The print profile contains one of each divider and spine configuration. Pick and choose which ones you need, and print as many copies as your layout requires.

Standard Thin Dividers

If you just need more basic thin dividers, those are included too. Use the standard 7-Groove version for horizontal placement.
