Description

weBoost Drive Reach Mounting Bracket

This is a high-strength, heavy-duty mounting solution for the weBoost Drive Reach (Model 470154) cellular booster. This design replaces the standard snap-in bracket with a much more secure strap-down system, perfect for trucks, off-road vehicles, and fleet applications where reliability is paramount.

Key Features:

  • Stealth Cable Management: The bracket is designed to sit directly over a small cutout in your vehicle's carpet. This allows you to feed the power and antenna cables vertically through the base and into the booster, hiding the wiring completely and protecting the connectors from being kicked or snagged.
  • High-Vibration Security: Instead of a simple plastic clip, this mount utilizes a robust strap-down design. This ensures the 1.8 lb booster remains locked in place during high-vibration driving, such as on washboard roads or off-road trails. I designed this to work with 25mm hook and loop strap, but you could substitute for long zip-ties.
  • Connector Clearance: U-shaped port cutouts provide 360-degree clearance. This accommodates both standard factory push-on connectors and larger aftermarket coax cable, or SMA-to-SMB adapters.
  • Universal Mounting: Featuring a 6-hole mounting pattern, this bracket can be secured via screws to the floor pan or zip-tied to seat frames and interior brackets.

Print Recommendations:

  • Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS are highly recommended. These materials handle the high temperatures of a vehicle interior (60°C+) without warping. (The model pictured was printed in PETG-CF for maximum rigidity).
  • Infill: 25-30%
  • Walls: 3-4 perimeters to ensure the mounting holes and strap tension points are strong.
  • Supports: May be required for the strap holes. I suggest attempting the print without. Print with the flat base on the build plate.

Compatible Hardware:

  • Booster: weBoost Drive Reach (all vehicle variants: OTR, Overland, Fleet).
