GRABTOR, Unfold before use
GRABTOR is a Print In Place clothes hanger. No assembling, no supports. Yet small enough for the A1 Mini printbed.
Print, unfold, and let it transform into a sturdy, full sized clothes hanger. Measuring a whopping 420mm total width.
Tested on Bambulab X1C, A1M and H2D. Using PLA and PETG HF. Settings below are carefully tuned to print the hinges without permanent fusing.
Quick Start
- Clearance of the default model (3MF file) is 0.15mm
- STL models with 0.20mm and 0.25mm clearance are available
How to print
Use the provided 3mf project file or import the STL directly into your slicer. Orientation is optimized for printability, strength and smooth movement. Print this model in PLA, PETG or ABS for best results. Recommended settings:
• 0.2 mm layer height
• 3 Walls
• NO supports/brim/raft
• Wall generator: Arachne
• Wall order: inner/outer/inner
• Detect overhang walls: unchecked
How to use
Gently pull both sides outwards after printing, to unbind the hinges with an audible click.
Perfect to use at home, work or on vacation. Fully collapse to easily take it with you, wherever you might go to.
Unique Features
Special hinge design
GRABTOR's hinges are oriented vertically along their rotation axis. A deliberate design choice that eliminates the need for supports entirely. A slight material fusion during printing is by design. Open the arms once, hear the click, and every hinge is permanently free. No tools, no cleanup, no second chances needed.
Fits on small 3D printers
The 4-bar linkage mechanism folds the entire structure into a compact footprint, making the GRABTOR fully printable on machines as small as the Bambu A1 mini. Full-size hanger. Minimal build plate. No compromises.

One hanger that folds flat and disappears into any bag, suitcase or pocket. GRABTOR is there when you need it, and completely out of the way when you don't.
