Well I printed it in Petg gf and when I tried to screw in the screw it broke, even though I have an optimized profile for this material

Do you think I should print it at an angle or put some play in the nut Visually everything is fine I don't seem to have any layer adhesion problems or anything else

Thank you for your feedback šŸ‘ It is indeed a somewhat special case. On my end, a friend has already done some tensile tests once the screw was in place (not torsional), and it held over 160 kg in PLA before breaking, so the design is normally solid. However, even with another material, screwing it in should remain smooth. If it forces to the point of breaking, that is not normal. PETG GF can play a role here: - slight retraction → tighter tolerances - "drier" material and less tolerant to screwing - possible filament moisture that weakens the part You can try several things: - do an initial screw-in/unscrew-out to break in the thread - slightly adjust the tolerances in Bambu Studio (horizontal expansion / hole compensation) - possibly lower the flow a bit if it's too tight But clearly, if the nut is too tight to the point of breaking, it's probably a material effect + tolerances šŸ‘

Great model! Very sturdy and strong. Printed in petg with no issue. Worked well. Moving part and screw needed no additional sanding. Thank you very much!
