Description
A Whimsical Tribute to Herstory
This hair accessory blends functional elegance with expressive storytelling. Designed for secure everyday wear, it features a nature-inspired composition: a blue-and-yellow bird perched on twig-like supports, an orange butterfly in flight, fern leaves, and delicate white blossoms. Each element celebrates femininity, resilience, and the beauty of natural forms.
Created for Herstory Month, this piece honors the strength and creativity of women through symbolic design. It’s a wearable sculpture that transforms hair into a canvas — perfect for spring festivals, cosplay, or daily empowerment.
Assembly Instructions (GLUE REQUIRED!)
Start by gluing the butterfly to the top right branch in the gap on the right.

Carefully remove the tree supports from inside the keyed hole bracket (I used the allan key that came with the 3D printer)

Connect the two bracket pieces together and glue them so they don't come apart. Notice the V notches on the backs … they will be used later.

Notice the stick has a bump on one end. This bump is used to lock the stick in place.

You will insert the stick into the keyed hole and then turn the stick 25 degrees clockwise and pull back to lock it in place.

The back of the logs have V grooves that match the bracket that was assembled earlier. Glue the bracket to the logs. Also notice there is a hole/notch cut out from the top of the logs. This is where the bird gets glued in place.

Once the glue is dry, it is ready to wear! Looking forward to seeing everyone's new hair accessory!
