Description

Darktide is my favorite game, so I will occasionally create some just for fun props and cosplay items based on it. This is one example.
I made this for a friend of mine as it is his favorite weapon skin because it looks badass. :)

It prints in 2 halves flat to the print plate with connectors and fits on the X1C/P1S/P2S/A1 sized bed. Note that I made the connectors a bit shorter so if there is some leftover filament in the insert, it should account for that. Which means the top of the connectors may not make contact for glue. Instead, I recommend gluing the flat planes together and using the dowel plugs to help line them up. I used some clamps to glue the two halves together more flush. But the sample version used the original taller plugs.

You could absolutely paint each side separately and then assemble after, you could put painters tape on the back to keep any paint off and keep it as smooth as possible. Or you can assemble and use paint fill or primer with gap fill to remove as much of the central line as possible.

If you use this design in a cosplay, or if you paint it, know that I would LOVE to see the result!

Feel free to let me know if you want any other Darktide weapons worked on and posted!

Note, this model doesn't have moving parts, but possibly in the future. I built it in such a way that could be doable.

I have a multicolor version coming soon that will be a separate listing! It's done but I need to test print it which will take some time.
