This P2S stepper motor cover was developed to protect the stepper motors and belts while enhancing the aesthetics of the printer.

The design ensures that the motors have sufficient space, preventing any rubbing or restrictions. Additionally, the cover is precisely engineered to easily snap into place and remain securely fixed.

For optimal use, an open design was deliberately chosen. Since stepper motors can reach high temperatures during extended operation, the integrated slots provide better heat dissipation and help prevent heat buildup.

Also available in a polygonal look.

Printed very well but the right cover does not have enough space and makes contact with the pulley

Thank you very much for your feedback Actually, the version with the polygon pattern was designed a little too tightly. I’ve just adjusted the model and updated the print profile accordingly. Please feel free to print it again. It should fit now

Printed in ABS due to the inside temperatures for X2D. Fits perfectly and looking AWESOME. One thing to consider: I cut one of the clips off on both covers. Maybe I'm too cautious, but I don't like the position of the belt. On the left side, it is tighter to the left side. On the right side, on the right. When you take a closer look, it looks like the belt itself could be in touch with the clip itself. I am not sure if it's touching, so I cut it. Even on 3x clips, it holds perfectly. I know this profile is for P2S; maybe the belt position is different on X2D.

You can generally try it with PETG, but I can't guarantee that it will hold up well in the long run, as PETG is at the limit with the temperatures of the steppers and can deform. The safer choice would definitely be ABS or ASA
