Mercedes 190 (W201) Tweeter Mount

Tweeter mount for Mercedes 190 (W201), designed for DLS Cruise CRPP UT25.

Angled towards the driver to improve staging and imaging in SQ builds. Not OEM-style, the goal here is better sound rather than hiding it.

Installation

Mounts to the door using double-sided tape or adhesive.
3M VHB is recommended.

The tweeter is fixed in place with hot glue, making it a simple and solid one-piece solution.

The tweeter hole is 46 mm with an outer diameter of 56 mm.
Designed to be used together with the included surface housing of the DLS tweeter.

Print Info

• PETG / ABS / ASA recommended, do not use PLA
• Print with the front face up for best surface finish
• Some support removal is needed as the mating surface is not flat
• Use enough walls for rigidity

Notes

• No clips or tabs by design
• Clean surfaces properly before mounting
• You can tweak placement slightly before final install depending on your setup
• If your tweeter is smaller, you can make a simple adapter ring or scale one to fit. I can also create adapter rings on request

Some last words

The fitment is around 90% there. This was originally made for a friend, so I haven’t spent the time to fully dial it in, but it’s too good not to share.

Since it wasn’t made for my own car, I no longer have access to the vehicle for further adjustments.

The bottom surface that meets the door is not completely flat, so supports are required. These can be a bit tedious to remove.

Expect a bit of sanding to get a perfect fit and finish.
